Things to Do in Molokai

• Post-A-Nut Hoolehau Post Office –

• Halawa Valley and Falls –

• Molokai Mule Ride –

• Purdy’s Natural Macadamia Nuts –

• Kalaupapa Overlook –
  Located inside of the Kalaupapa National Historical Park lies one of the most beautiful views in all of Hawaii.  Countless photos have been taken here and we doubt that will ever stop anytime soon.  Consider pairing this with the Molokai Mule Tour activity and knocking them both out in the same day!
• Surfing –
  It’s no secret that Hawaii is know for its affinity towards Surfing.  If you are looking for a great surf shop to get started, consider visiting the Malama Surf Shop located in Kaunakakai, Hawaii.
• Swimming –
  There are a number of awesome beaches through out all of the islands of Hawaii, after all, it is a chain of islands!  Be sure to bring your bathing suit with you, or buy one when you get there, because whether you like laying on the beach or diving into the ocean, Hawaii has plenty of awesome places for it!

What To Pack

Definitely bring casual wear on your trip to Molokai!  Scratch that nice blouse because there are really no “high-class” restaurants on the island.  Everyone wears T-shirts, shorts and flip-flops because of the gorgeous weather!  Make sure to bring sunscreen and sunglasses or even a hat to keep yourself protected from the rays.  It’s great to bring a light sweater or jacket for at night,if you take a look at the average temperatures, it can drop in the 60s some nights.

Transport

You’ll have to rent a car to get around the island as public transportation is virtually non-existent.  If you decide to do what the locals call, “island hopping,” you can always board a flight or take a ferry to any of the other islands to continue your Hawaiian adventure!
