• Nub’s Nob –
  If you’re visiting this destination during the wintertime, then Nub’s Nob is the place to be! This ski area has been helping travelers ski, snowboard and enjoy the snow for almost 60 years. They have 53 slopes with trails on three different peaks. Did we mention they serve homemade food and have a friendly staff that’ll help you learn the ropes? Ranked as one of North America’s biggest and best ski resorts, this is the place to be when the weather drops! Children eight and under ski free, so it’s a nice spot to take the kids.
• Pond Hill Farm –
  Pond Hill Farm offers farmland to explore and their livestock barn is open year-round. Kids and adults can feed their cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens and geese during their visit. Many travelers will hike through their woods for a view of Lake Michigan and the countryside from the top of their vineyard. During the summer they offer hayrides to see Trout Pond and their beautiful fields. In addition to the farm, there’s also a winery and brewery as well as a cafe to satisfy your palate.
• Golfing – 
  If hitting the links is your thing, you’re in the right place. In Harbor Springs alone, there are almost a dozen golf courses for beginners and skilled putters alike. Take a look at Little Traverse Bay Golf Course, Boyne Highlands and True North Golf Club to start.
• Thorne Swift Nature Preserve –
  They have a frog pond, lake vista, beautifully maintained trails and more at Thorne Swift Nature Preserve. There’s an information center you should be sure to stop by and they’ll point you to the best spots to bird watch or see special kinds of flowers. Enjoy a leisurely walk to relax on the beach with a good book and soak up the sun.
• Pleasantview Winery-
  Wine connoisseurs rejoice! In addition to the winery and brewery mentioned above at Pond Hill Farm, there’s more places to savor the sweet (or dry) taste of grapes in Michigan. Pleasantview Winery offers year-round wine tasting as well as wine education seminars to show you the science behind wine making, take you on a field tour and help you learn to analyze and evaluate the best food pairings.
