Things to Do on Nevis in the Caribbean 

• Nevis Botanical Gardens –
  With Nevis Peak in the background, the volcanic mountain in the middle of the island, the Nevis Botanical Gardens can be a picturesque way to enjoy a part of your day.  There are a number of sculptures, fountains and a bunch of gardens for visitors to see.  Another interesting fact about the gardens is that it is the most popular place on the island for people to tie the knot.  Find more information on their website, “Nevis Botanical Gardens”
• Downtown Charleston –
  Visit the largest city on the island, Charleston, that was founded in the early 1600s.  It has a number of amazing historical buildings and structures for travelers to learn more about as well as  a number of shops and a public market.
• Alexander Hamilton’s Home –
  Travelers can see some American history while on the island of Nevis.  As the birthplace and first home of Alexander Hamilton, known as the father of modern banking, travelers can see where the first Secretary of the Treasury was born and raised.  This building also houses the Nevis Museum of History.
• Beaches –
  With over 14 beach areas on the coastline of the island, Nevis provides travelers with a place to take a swim, sunset stroll or just kick back and relax.  The white sandy beaches can be the perfect place for Sundance Vacations travelers to enjoy doing as much or as little as they want.
• Nelson’s Springs –

• Hiking –
  There are a number of possibilities for hiking in Nevis.  Although the island is not huge, travelers can check out a number of locations like nature trails, rain forest trails and on the side of the volcano!  Most of these hikes are made even more amazing when taking them at sunrise or sunset, making for some great photographic scenes.
• Hit the Water-
  Nevis, being an island, is literally surrounded by water.  This presents a number of water-related activities that visitors can take part in.   From kayaking to boat tours and surfing to snorkeling, there is no shortage of things to do on and in the water.  Add in fishing and you have a plethora activities before you even step foot on the island.
• See the Monkeys –
  Take a guided tour through the rain forest in search of the Vervet Monkey.  There are a number of local tour guides that will take you on a guided excursion to find these animals.
